Thinking of Sunrise in Argentina

The terrain was derived from Guardian Angels, Utah. The terrain was altered in Terragen for the purpose of this image. The inspiration was a photograph by Art Wolfe. Most likely I will try to get the actual terrain he photographed and try again. Please note: this is NOT a photograph. It is totally computer generated. © Pat Goltz Thank you for your comments. This is tres cool. I have a couple of books by Art Wolfe and I love his mountain photographs from Argentina and Chile. I am not sure which mountains these are supposed to be as they seem to be a combination of the peaks around Mt. Fitz Roy and Los Torres del Paine. I went there last year but although i am pleased with my photographs, I didn't get some of the great stuff Wolfe got. I am looking forward to exploring your gallery more.
