Grand Canyon 17

The Grand Canyon provides some interesting evidence that contradicts conventional geological wisdom. There are two layers of identical material in the canyon. One is near the top, and the other near the bottom. The layer on the bottom is "younger" than the layer on the top. © Pat Goltz Thank you for your comments. I greatly appreciate them!

Thanks for the lesson.... love an image with a comment that helps the viewer experience the image as you must... This is not an easy shot... the canyon is so often misty ... you might increase the contrast on this one though for more impact.. not sure but worth a try~
