This is a portrait I did for my son-in-law of his mother and nephew.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much! I did this as a gift to my son-in-law. I had a poor photo to use for it, but managed to paint a soft, warm painting of his mother and nephew.

Beauitful Photo, great lighting!

Artist Reply: Thank you! I couldn't use the reference photo for this created from scratch painting, it was't even savagable for a photo manipulation even, poor lighting at night caused lots of speckling. Still, I liked the pose and had other photos to work from as reference to get their faces correct.

Artist Reply: Than you Emily! I took a photo at a family party that did not come out at all. However, the pose was so cute, I decided to try to capture the moment and paint it. I'm glad I did!
