Maelstrom

Originally it was an a4 shaped picture, but the two halves were clashing a little. I didn't want to get rid of either of them, so I brought Maelstrom up into the top and made a square. I'm not too comfy with her hair, but I think her face and skin markings came out well. I'd like to thank my brother, who was sitting behind me for most of this :D Heh heh. I think that's the most I've ever done in one session, because I let him look over my shoulder. He also came up with the writing around the sun, which you can't see much of now :( Painter Classic, Photoshop 8, February 2006

The hair is great! I like it just the way it is! It so fits the style and mood of this painting! Wonderful colors used, enchanting figure! The background is prefect for this subject!
