Two Friends at Play

This is a portrait I painted from scratch. During my granddaughter Gianna's first birthday party, I spotted her and a new friend playing together. Children are wiser than many adults for the know that friendship should have no age limits or color barriers. Neither could understand each other , but they became fast friends through smiles. I used mixed media with both Painter Classic and PainterIX software to paint this portrait using my wacom tablet. Below is the photo I took that gave me the idea for this painting.

Your work is so tender so touching, LOVE IT!

Artist Reply: Thank you Vivian. I love seeing children in situations like this one. The older girl was being so sweet to the younger one. Didn't matter their age difference or that they didn't know each other a lot. It was time to play and smile at the day together.

Wow! just beautiful. Thanks

Artist Reply: Thanks Minnie! It's not so accurate, but didn't mean it to be. It was a cute moment, and gave me a great subject to paint.
