The Girlfriend, done as a commission for a work colleague of his lady.He saw me doing other works, and wanted me to do one for him.Think it works well in colour.

Now this piece really gets me thinking, does her face actually look like that in real life? I trust that you have the quality at hand to portray this woman accurately. She looks like shes looking in two different directions and youve captured that to superb effect. Well done Kevin.

Artist Reply: Thank you William for all your fantastic comments, so sorry not to have got back to you earlier but have been in hospital. OK now, my first day back in harness so to speak. By the way, used Chino-graph pencils to get the texturing on the neck-tie. The model used in the oval framed portrait was the wife of one of my work colleagues, he asked me to do it as a commission for her birthday, and more to the point he paid me as well.
