From the genesis of time, man has contemplated meeting God. This mural is a rendition from the Masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel in Rome by Michelangelo. It was completed as a commission for a client and took approximately 30 days from inception to installation. A plaster compound was used to texture the outer areas once the actual canvas mural was in place (very difficult to install this one). The residence is magnificent. I will try to get a photo of the entire entry way area with a view of the final dome. Rope and spotlighting were both used to accentuate the God rays and illuminate this rather large work. It was a challenge, but most ceielings are a challenge working upside down twenty feet up on scaffolding. Not a project for the faint of heart.
