Wild Summer Garden

This is a mixed media digital painting I made using Painter IX software and my Wacom tablet and stylus pen. I wanted to use multiple brushes and mediums to create a wild look to a garden in full bloom, busrting in growth in the summer. I love how some gardens can look so wild and still beautiful. Less work for me to maintain, if in my own garden as well. Some areas I love seeing a garden all neat and pruned, yet I find myself always wandering to places a garden has gone wild, fields or patches where wildflowers or gardens have become overgrown. They have a carefree, fun look of determiation to bloom that I admire. We're here!!! We are as nature meant to grow free. This summer I was blessed to see several fields and gardens running wild. It always bought a smile to my lips, a song to my ears, a lift of my spirits. Secret places some might have gone past without a look, missing the beauty of the wild.

wow - Terry this really packs a punch!

Artist Reply: Thank you Michael. This one is a wild experimental one I did. Not my usual style, but sure was a fun one to play with.

Wow! Lovely wild and free image... lots of movement and texture. Delightful!

Artist Reply: Thank you Julie! I love the varieties of brushes and textures I can combine with digita art. I can mix mediums I couldn't often as well like oil with watercolor, and add chalks, etc. Really cool results when you experiment with them all.
