Unloved

"UNLOVED"

It's so sad to witness,
decay's taking hold,
It's building materials,
Now return to the fold,

Walls are leaning,
Back's now broke,
No cheerful fire,
Nor chimney smoke,

Somebody lived here,
Who?, I don't know,
I find myself wondering,
Why did they go?,

But gone is their laughter,
So are their tears,
As are their hopes,
And also their fears,

For now the old house,
Is no more than a shell,
Where ghosts and their memories,
Doubtless still dwell.

Terry Bassett.

I love shots like these...I have always been interested in old or abandoned buildings...and you are doing what I always wanted to do.
