A Breath Of Spring

It's not often that I paint in mid day sunlight but on this particular day it was especially brilliant. I decided to frame the subject with a dark background to accentuate it's effect on the flowers, leaves, dress, etc. The sunlight reflecting onto her face from her cupped hands is what I enjoyed most about creating this painting.

Wow!!! you painting looks like photograph,i wonder why only $420 ,im sure your work worth a lot,lot more than that,,its most never seen!!! as every one says they are brilliant work!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Marika. I can assure you that I don't sell my original paintings for $420! If you notice, that is the price for a canvas reproduction. The original would be somewhere around $5,500.
