Love & Fear

Love & fear, almost perfect opposites. Two things that preclude each others existence, can't occupy the same space yet the secret to love is to let go of fear. how we struggle with these two concepts and often forget that one is the lock, the other the key. Dodecahedron means 12 sided solid but one is the base which holds a battery operated replacable light unit. to illuminate the internal space. the 11 images on this irregular sided dodecahedron are: Lovers obscuring the lines that differentiate them. The most evil pig in the world. A ferel cat on the attack. Exploding ego person. Disconnected man. There's always a bigger bully. Lips to read. highway to fear. Crossing the Dire Straights. Abject terror with self pity. Fertility goddess. Tall grass reavealing portal. Peering thru the portal places the viewer right in the jaws of a shocking real fox head (proffesionally taxidermed) bathed in an eerie blue light. Note: No animals were harmed much in the making of this art.

You're right it is a little heavy on the fear side but I thought no one would want to see it if it was called “Fear” so I threw love in there cause everybody likes love. Yes, some of us do have that many sides, some of us only come with two, cole slaw and potato salad. I've been told I have multiple personalities but I'm good people.

This is really disturbing to imagin that there are so many sides to each and every man. I see more fear tht anything in this one.
