All the Vienna apartments I went in, were totally different in style to this photo. They were mostly highly oppulent with lots of detail everywhere like highly decorated ceiling roses or coving. Fireplaces were also highly decorated with patterned tiles etc. This is such a contrast.

Artist Reply: Yes, this was a very spartan styled apartment in a 30's building. However, it was very comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay there.
