Pretty Glass Pebbles and Marbles

I love glass pebbles, marbles, and beads. I have a bunch and always looking for more. Plastic ones are just as cool to me, doesn't have to be a gem to make me appreciate it. I love the ones with iridescent tones , and the way the light reflects. That's me shiny baubles make me coo. Most have noticed I'm crazy for bubbles as well, and kaleidoscopes designs using reflective materials. Some may think I've lost my marbles, but nope, got them all, and painted a few in this. Crazy is a state of mind, some of us just know what to do with the crazy part, be creative! LOL! Thinking of doing a series of baubles, let me know what you think of that idea. This is digitally painted, not a manipulated/photoshopped work. I drew it, painted it, every bit. I just used a Wacom tablet (electronic tablet with wireless pen, and art software that I chose the brush size, medium to mimic, etc.) Best of all, no clean up mess!

amazing art

Artist Reply: Thank you Jan!!! Glass pebbles, small and cheap, still are pretty and full of treasure to my eyes. I treasure the small things in life as little gifts for one's soul.

Very neat digital painting, Terry... Love all the reflections.. blue ones are my favorite and I always carry one in my pocket..:))

Artist Reply: Thanks Bluemoonshadow! I carry some in my purse as well, sometimes in my pocket. I plan to put some mosiac walkways in my garden once we get the house built in Colorado. I have crates of rocks collected from around the world to use in the house and garden areas. MOvers just hate me because of the rocks. I love natural items, and glass, so enjoy decorating, crafting, and painting them. LOL! My husband traveled extensively around the world while in the service. I'd ask him to bring me home a rock, or seashell. My kids did as well. The girls learned geography from looking up a country, exports, and makig a gift list for him to bring back. Tey all collected rocks, shells, postcards, dolls, coins, and other items. I was happy with a rock.

Beautiful job!

Artist Reply: Thanks John!!! I was unpacking my art and craft boxes and found some of my baubles. I laid some out under my drafting table light and had to paint them.

Artist Reply: Thanks Mark, I started this on a whim, and really loved the results. Will work on some more ideas that this gave me.
