Whire Zinnia Delight

This white zinna plant of mine has been such a beauty to grow. A rather showy variety, I decided to try some soft brush strokes to digital paint it. This was painted using a graphics tablet, my Wacom tablet & stylus pen, not a manipulated photo or computer software converted effect.

Terry, this is just lovely and your brush techniques are just outstanding. You have really taken this to another higher more spiritual level. Excellent work. Michael

Artist Reply: Thanks Miguel! I am experimenting with mediums, brsh styles, and blends of strokes to see what it will look like. This is one of them that works well. I like the soft look it gave to it, and the loose feel of the stroke it has.

This is truly lovely, Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks John, I've had trouble with the leaves on this one, healthwise growing it. Still, I can paint them healthy, so even my yucky reference photos come in handy for paintings. The flower bud it self seems to do great. Just this one plant, must be something in the soil. The others I grew were fine.
