Wuthering heights

This photo was taken earlier this year when we were visitng my son in West Yorkshire. We'd visited the Bronte Parsonage and later drove over the moors to Wuthering Heights. (The title of the novel by Emily Bronte)Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte often walked up here. The views are stunning and you can see for miles. Not a soul was up here, not even a bird. Only silence, broken occasionally by the bitter wind...... We didn't see Heathcliffe though!!
