Long Meg and her Daughters stone circle

This is a photograph of "Long Meg" from the Long Meg and her Daughters stone circle, in Cumbria, UK. Legend tells that Meg led a pagan dance on the Sabbath and was turned to stone with her fellow dancers as punishment.

Note the circular carvings on the stone - spirals are used to show eternity on many neolithic stone sites.
