Siberian Stroll

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 03/19/08. A felt marker drawing with watercolor washes. This scene reminds me of a scene from Dr. Zhivago. A great film from the 1960s.

your works are all so unique and well thought out,I love the starkness to this, makes me think of the long hard winters we have here, even though hard they have a beauty and specialness to them,I like the pinkish tinge to this.

Artist Reply: I'm humbled my your dear compliment Ruth. Thank you so much for the fabulous comment.

Washes are one of my favorite things to do. I love to do abstract washes and just watch the colors and liquids bleed and become one. You did a great job capturing the subject in this. The piece does look cold and the weather brute. Nicely done!

Artist Reply: I agree with you Adam I adore washes. They are fun and easy to do (depending on the paper and the media). Thank you for all your GREAT comments today and especially this one!

Love the tone of colors and contrast. Emotion is there.
