Wedding Invitation

This is actually my own personal wedding invite. When the invitation is opened this piece sits at the top while the sleeve below holds all the important information. I didn't want to design something that would be common. The theme my fiance chose was "The perfect pear". I found this great image of two pears, that seemed to be leaning on one another and gave it all a minimalistic, clean and modern look. The invitation was a white/champagne color, while the envelope was off-white. The invitation really popped. I didn't get too much positive feedback from artwanted members in the critique stage (because of it's untraditional approach), but people who know us loved this piece and saw it as very fitting.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Ruth. I'm glad we share the same sentiments on the topic of traditionalism and how it should be broken sometimes.
