Autumn Cat

This beautiful cat visits from the neighbors and is really hard to spot during Autumn. She blends right in with the boulders and leaves in the yard. She's quite shy, but seems to like watching me. Usually she's stalking the wild turkeys, but never goes after them.

nice picture...... beautyfull kitten :o)

Artist Reply: Thank you Blue Doll! I have missed having cats this last year. My 3 elderly cats all past away over the last three years. THe last one last summer before we moved. Since we are renting until we move in a week, I have had to wait on getting new cats. I wil get a couple in a week, and can't wait! There's a local cat santuary tha is closing in a couple weeks that needs homes for 2 dozen cata. I can take 2-3 in. They will be in cat heaven on the new property.

great photo of this kitty Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks Kimberley! I used a zoom lens as she was a distance away from the house. It was hard to spot her where she was untli her head moved. She really blended in.

She is gorgeous, Terri! Wonderful creature!

Artist Reply: Thank you Julia! She's very aloof, but will come to eat if I put food out for her. She's well fed, but likes to stalk around the yard & works up an appetite.

I was dealing with cats all my life. They are most clever than people usually knows. Adorable creature.

Artist Reply: Thanks Armando! I agree they are clever. I've had some wonderful cats in my life. Cats can tell time, as other creatures one study showed. I had a cat that used to walk down to the end of the block a few minutes before we'd get in sight coming home from school to wait for us. I've had others that have hidden items undrneath pillows like a pack rat. One cat would steal red socks. One would open the front door latch if we had it unlocked, with the other two patiently sitting and waiting for him to get it open so they could go outside. They vary in personality, and can be demanding. Yet if a cat loves you, it gives you it's affection totally.
