Faith's Passion Cross is a combination of a digital painting I created that has creative effects & manipulation. I like experimenting with my paintings to create new works of art. I used several art & photo editing programs to do this, as well as using my electronic drawing tablet, a Wacom w/wireless stylus pen. For me, my faith burns with passion of life, joy, and love. It fills me often & seems to want to burst out from me so that I can not contain it. In my teen years I was asked why I seemed so happy , was I stoned? LOL! No, it's an inner joy that came from my conviction & faith. There were times that I seemed to have lost that feeling over the years, with it not being as present as it used to be. I am glad to say that it has been back & growing stronger the last decade, and I don't think anything will ever make it lose the passion I feel now. As I learn more, understand more, I have gotten stronger in faith. My cross series are an outlet to express my feelings. Some view the cross as a symbol of pain, sadness, I view a cross as a reminder of how much I am loved, how much I need to step it up myself to give service & witness. I can never repay such sacrifice, but can do what I can, whenever I can. Those that have other beliefs still enjoy the designs I do, I am not trying to offend anyone, just express my feelings.
