Purple Mountains’ Majesty

This work was completed several years ago. But it was put away as I was not completely satisfied with the final outcome. So I have revisited it recently in the last few days, worked on it again and now I think it is much better. Despite its American reference for a title, it could be the mountains of Patagonia, South America…a place I intend to visit….for there are Purple Mountains there too . . . This small reproduction image does not do justice to the actual work......
