What did you use to burnish the copper. I've used copper plate for printing procedure and steel plate as well in setting print designs. The glow and changing hues on this is lovely. Great composition with the gears. Love it.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ruby! this copper is 14 gauge sheets I have in my metal shop. I scratch it with sanders and grinders, get the color I want from a torch and then the real secret is I get them powder coated clear-coat and that process also changes the color/hue a bit. They have a feel of silk!
