This is Rick...a fellow photographer. We passed each other on the trail numerous times as we each set up our tripods in various places. There were so many people with cameras and tripods on this day, even tho the visitor's center and lodge are closed for the season. At least the gates are still open to enjoy the last days of summer in paradise!!! 2nd shot....As we begin to hike above the tree line, we look down on the dense forest of the White River Valley....so much contrast in 3000 ft. elevation.
