When the conditions are right, you just gotta do it!!! I rarely leave the house before 8:00am, but knew the Mountain would be out in all her glory at dawn, so bundled up, thawed the car out and headed for one of my favorite view places. It was getting light when I arrived at 7:00a, the sun finally broke the horizon at 8:00a. This time I took my zoom with me. You should have seen all the looks I got from people driving by.... :-)))
