This is my very first animal and Tiger portrait. I'm surprised I didn't start off drawing animals because I love them so much but I never had the right materials.

Excellent Portrait Kathleen for your very first animal/tiger Portrait. I happy you got the right materials because you are so good at it...When you love something as you do "Animals" your likely to do better at it and from seeing your work that seems to be true.

Artist Reply: Hi. Thank you! I know! I can't believe i don't have as many animal portraits as I do people. It bothers me because I'm the biggest animal lover there is! I started out doing people because I tought animals were harder and I also thought I didn't have the right materials. I'll be doing lots of animals now, though! :) Finally.

Such magnificent art. I think of this one as a dedication to your grandmother sweetheart who loved cats and tigers especially. She is looking at your work from where she is now and is so very proud of you.
