So for my watercolor final I have to make four paintings all related to one theme. So I decided to do a japanese theme and sell my art at the end of the semester and donate the money to Japan. So then I thought, wouldn't it be really cool if a bunch of artists did it? That way we could raise more money to help, and we might get noticed more! So here's my idea.
Get as many artists as we can to participate. Start a group and sell our art. If we want to keep maybe 5-10%, for supplies used because I know art supplies aren't cheap, than thats okay, but have the majority of money earned go towards helping Japan.
The original idea is to make art that represents Japan, or has something from japan in it, like origami, sushi, or a geisha.
