Hello and welcome to my Artwanted portfolio page. Here you will find my drawings done in graphite, charcoal, and colored pencils. My main focus in my work is emotion, light and shadow. I hope to capture the beauty I observe in a dramatic way. I want my drawings to be more than just lines and shapes on a piece of paper, I want my drawings to be a celebration of life.

Hello Rick! I read your description of the process. Step-by-step guide to action)) - the artist’s “kitchen” - graphics - is perfectly described. It feels like you pulled out my thoughts and words, my work habit, and then put them on paper! :) I am sure that this work will be completed with the same brilliance and charm as all the previous ones. A clear example of how an ordinary graphite pencil turns a blank sheet of paper into a work of art! I am very glad that I have the opportunity to enjoy your creations! Be healthy and good luck to you! Best regards, Alexander Boytsov. -

Struck a cord. So sweet, tender, and oozing with a heartwrenching sadness that brings tears. I'm not sure if it's only the power of the image or the place I am in life at this time, but that's what art is all about when it touches your emotions. Great job, Rick. I'm a fan of your work. - Rudolph
