One

One of twelve in the Aurora Borealis Mini Land/Skyscape series. 4" x 6" aurora bo·re·al·is Colored lights that occur in the northern regions of the earth, caused by a mixture of ionized oxygen and nitrogen gasses in the atomosphere. Although these lights are a naturally occuring phenomena, the aurora borealis create an effect so otherworldly and phantasmagoric that they open up new possibilities in the ways that our plane of existance is viewed and understood.

This is beautifully done. Is it really only 4 inches by 6 inches? That seem so tiny! :)

Oh man, I'm such a sucker for the northern lights. I've never seen them myself, so I'm always grateful to people like you who can show them to me. Wonderful painting, very impressive!
