My father and mother are my inspiration for all the work that you see. I was always so proud to see them work together as a team on art projects. When he passed away in 2003 I couldn't stop talking about how he could draw anything. I had no idea that I could create art until someone told me, Why not! Just try! I didn't think I could draw like him, so I went to the store got supplies to paint and I haven't stopped since. I have become friends with very creative people in the art world that inspire me with their work and success. Being a self-taught artist, I still have so much to learn but I enjoy every minute making mistakes. I currently have some artwork hanging on the walls at Spare Closet in Portland, TX and at La Dolce Vita day spa in Portland, TX.
