I am an artist who focuses on the properties of Oil Paint, creating abstract natural forms directly from my photographs.issues perceived as problematic to average painters such as issues related to appropriate subject matter, properties of the medium and and processes involved in painting. I try and take these issues and use them in such a way that they enforce my work.
My work focuses on creating unique middle grounds between abstraction and realism representing natural forms. Creating a stark contrast between the stilled nature of my subject matter and the energy with my work
i attempt to work in levels consequently focusing on levels within my work and creating contrasting surfaces with my space.
