I am an Englishman living in Nairobi. My history is long because I am approaching the autumn of my life. I don't care for the story much even though may be interesting to others. Here are a few sentences: I have lived in the UK, USA, Netherlands, Switzerland, South Africa and Kenya. I have died in the Congo, Angola, Namibia and Mocambique. I have been a student, a welder, a writer, a psychologist, a photographer, a mercenary and a wastrel. I now run a survival school outside Nairobi. It is always fun and seldom profitable. I relax by trying to paint and futzing with Photoshop. I take photographs as unconsciously as I breathe. My greatest achievement was crossing the Etosha Pan in a single night. I did it to save my life. I hope to learn from the people here, and to contribute what knowledge I have.
