I paint original watercolours of Wales,Cornwall and France. I have an impressionistic style staying away from the photographic copying of a scene. I simplyfy what I see. Colour harmony is most important. I feel that the artist must balance skill with imagination, otherwise the painting will have no feeling. I hope the viewer feels this when they look at the paintings.
