I am a visual artist with many years of education (earned a B.A. in Art and Psychology, and aiming to be an independent art therapist), enlightenment, and experience. I am a native of the Green Mountains of Vermont, and in 2002 created a new home for myself in the greater Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area, along with my husband and (more recently) our two beautiful young sons.
As an artist I don't like to confine myself to one genre, as I work in many different mediums...pastel, watercolor, photography, acrylic, print-making, drawing, and my personal favorite--collage and decoupage! I pride myself on the fact that I can work in a vast array of artistic styles from delicate watercolor renderings to the boldness of my collage formations. I am a "no limits" kind of woman!
I have been focusing my energy on "abstract" (for lack of a better word) collages for the past few years and I feel as though I have found a niche! I primarily use images cut from magazines, though I have been known to use wallpaper, beads, glitter (used tastefully and in moderation), and even dried beans for my 2-D and 3-D creations.
