The Dagger

A friend of mine posed for this when I first started learning photography in the early 90s. Recently, I scanned the photo and used Photoshop to produce this. I wanted to give the picture a mysterious effect while focusing the viewer's attention on the edge of the dagger. Therefore I kept the dagger and hands as a photo, but used Photoshop to make the rest of the work appear as a slightly out of focus painting. Copyright by Phil Slattery
