I started oil painting in May of 2008. I am a self taught pencil artist always yearning to paint but to afraid. Now I am wondering why I was so scared. I love all the colors and the fact I can bring pictures to life. I am a realistic style painter. I am currently just a hobby painter building my portfolio but my goal is to be selling pieces. I have been a professional horse trainer and know the ins and outs of horses and their emotions. I feel this helps me with painting horses. I live in the beautiful pacific northwest where everyday there seems to be some inspirations to paint.
