Nancy Melton was chosen Artist of the Year by the Mayor's Commission in Lake Charles, Louisiana. A watercolor painter, Nancy also teaches private classes and at the University. Winner of a multimedia Show in 2009 with a portrait, Nancy accepts portrait commissions for people, pets, and homes. Nancy is an LSU honor graduate and earned an Art Degree from her local University. Her greatest joy at present is painting portraits of her grandchildren and others. Her current painting series is Children in Motion.
