I have spent most of my life in the arts. I started doing community theatre performances at the age of seven and by the time I was 14 I was attending Milwaukee High School of the Arts. I majored in performance theatre but also did technical theatre work and learned how to design and build sets. In college, I served as the vice president of marketing for a major student organization. I learned graphic design and created everything from t-shirts to brochures to advertisements. In 2005, I took up painting just for fun. I took an art class through my local parks and recreation department, but other than that I am mainly self-taught. Of course, everything I've done in the past helps. I usually paint from pictures of places I have lived or visited. I love to travel and have very fond memories of just about every place I have visited. I love to share what I have experienced with others who may not have had the chance to visit the places I have or with those who share my love of travel.
