Daniel Carvalho was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey on March 11, 1969. Began drawing at the age of 4 with amazing accuracy. Basically self taught artist who had numerous art classes throughout High School, was in the gifted and talented program. Entered and won numerous contests. Studied for 2 years at Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts from 1987-1989. Since then has had numerous jobs unrelated to the art industry, although still painted as a hobby. Then in 2000 began working for Designers Gallery, in Clark, NJ. A Fine Art Gallery and custom framing shop, as a professional framer. Since then he has been around art and numerous artists. Deciding to give his art carreer another chance took up painting again and began receiving high praise for his artwork. Has sold many paintings as well as receiving numerous commissions for his talent. His artwork now hangs in over 200 private collections.
