After 30 years in the trades, I gave up my career to be an artist full-time. Divorce literally put me in the woods, where I set up "dacompound". Check out on youtube "homeless artist living in the woods, FMB". I would get my artwork matted and framed and would hit the beach to sell my wares and do tourist portraits. It's been a couple of years that I've been out of the woods, but I still set up artcamps from time to time!
