I attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California majoring in Illustration. I am an award-winning artist placing in many juried shows and competitions both in Northern and Southern California. My works are owned by private collectors throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
I consider myself an expressionist...and I love color! I work in all media, but lately have been partial to watercolor... It was the first medium I learned when attending my first year of college and fell in love with it.
As far as subject matter, humor plays a role in a lot that I do. I usually listen to my favorite music as I work which makes for some unusual and surprising images! I like to challenge myself by experimenting with new ideas, changing my theme, medium and palette frequently. Either way, I usually like what I end up with. I hope you do, too. PEACE! Michelle
