I love to paint. I am a retired teacher. I retired early from teaching second grade in the Hampton City School System in Virginia. We live in Isle of Wight County. We live close to the charming and picturesque town of Smithfield, VA, USA. I usually paint with acrylics but sometimes use watercolors. I like Southwest-themed art the most but I like to paint almost any subject. My father was an accomplished portrait artist. He also painted many beautiful landscapes and still lifes with oils.
