Self Portrait

Francie [Foster] graduated early from high school and was accepted to University of California Berkeley on a scholastic grant in English. While employed during the 1970’s she also earned an honors degree in art from City College of San Francisco in addition to being a part-time student at the San Francisco Art Institute. She later received an honors degree in business management from St. Mary’s College. Francie's image was featured on the Megatron Billboard at 1 Times Square, NYC, as part of Hyundai USA’s customer ad campaign. She was awarded Instagram photo awards from the City of Richmond, City of Fairfield, and City of Point Richmond, and she was given a special photo recognition from Yelp*. She was also a finalist in BookFest Book Awards and is a featured photographer on the artwanted.com website. Francie designs jewelry (featured in New York Moves and Supermodels magazines) and shoes, authored a children’s book “Edward the White Goose,” and has written numerous short stories which have been published internationally.
