My first encounter in this vast field of painting came by accident I have never felt I had a creative bone in my body as far as art was concerned . A friend who does restoration art for the Catholic Churchs in Los Angeles while viewing some doodling of mine commented that she did not know I was artistic. I laughed , she did not . So because I wanted to see if she knew something and encouraged by her I Tried it by taking several courses in Drawing and perspective in the Community Collage . I seemed to take to Portrait work and still life and from there the love affair began. I have since been a student of a local artist and studied under her tuitledge for almost 4 years. I especially like to paint women and flowers. I love to draw and my next passion is pen and ink and stippling I just love it. Oil is next and after that it is pastels and last but not least a small amount of watercolor and colored pencil. So you can see I have really jumped in and have not surfaced yet.
