I have spent the majority of my working career in the education sector, the last twenty or so in adult education and training. Now that I am semi-retired I am able to spend more time and effort on my passion ..., photography.

Since purchasing my first SLR camera in 1976 I have mostly used Nikon. I purchased a Nikon D7000 in January, 2011, and was so impressed with this camera that I purchased a second in July 2011. I can change cameras faster than I can change various lenses.
In addition to my digital cameras I still have and occasionally use my 35mm film cameras. These consist of a couple of Nikon F90X cameras and a Nikon FE2. Assorted lenses, filters, flash guns, tripods, studio lights, backdrops, light tents, reflectors etc
I don't have one favourite location. Now that it is so inexpensive to shoot using digital media I shoot anything and everything when I am out with my camera. Often unlikely subjects and photos give better results than the obvious.
