“Umauma” A Pure Heart “He aha ka hua I ka Umauma” What is the thought in the heart; a pure heart. In the beginning the Kupuna generally used this word when they spoke of newborns. The elders always knew and understood this word: Umauma. There are those who walk amongst us who speak to us from the heart. This is the purest form of Aloha.
