HE, the CHRIST, does reach right out to the age of technology from the time on the cross... the crown of thorns grows ever more... POWERFUL work.

I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY GOD CREATED MAN AND WOMAN, AND THEN SEND HIS SON TO BE TORTURED BY US FOR OUR SALVATION. THIS IS NOT A QUESTION. IT IS A COMMENTARY ON THE WARPED FEELING WE HAVE ABOUT GOOD AND EVIL. HOW CAN YOU TORTURE WHAT YOU LOVE. THIS IMAGE IS VERY PAINFUL. YOU'VE CREATED VERY WELL THE ILLUSION OF ETERNAL SUFFERING. IN THE BUDDHIST TRADITION, WE CREATE OUR OWN SUFFERING AND CANNOT ENDED IT UNTIL WE LOOK AT IT AND SEE HOW WE CREATED THE SUFFERING. IN A SENSE, WE ARE ALL CHRIST.

nicely expressed, depth and antiquity of style...
