Zygophyseter

This a head drawing of a extinct raptorial sperm whale called Zygophyseter Varolai. It was discovered in Italy. It had a length of about 6-7 meters (21-27 ft. long) . It's been nicknamed the Killer Sperm Whale. Because it's believed to occupied the same niche as today's Orca/Killer Whale. It had a beak which made it look like a beaked whales but it had longer, a zygomatic process hence the name Zygo , and larger deep rooted teeth covered in enamel, and it's skull was built asymetrical which means it probably fed on large prey. I used 4H, 2B, 4B, pencils to do the shading and a Q-Tip ( it helped with the shading). Comments welcomed, more to come and be sure to check out the rest of my gallery.
