This is so real looking, Will! the wood colors and variations really work. I felt like I was there and ready for a taste of this vino! Absolutely incredible work on this piece. I love your style and grace in your works,...and especially the details amaze me!! Mark

Artist Reply: Mark: I am truly humbled by your generous comments. I read your bio. and looked at many of your posts. I know that you are a truly gifted and dedicated artist that is amazingly versatile. Your comments mean a great deal to me. I enjoyed doing this piece. The original cask was carved by an elderly gentleman that has been doing this for years. I'll very pleased that you have found my rendering of his work worthy of praise. I will go back and look at your work more closely and comment on it. Hope that your weekend has gone well. Best regards, Will

Great work: the way you have captured the very tricky wood grain is masterly indeed.

Artist Reply: Tony: thanks so much. I really enjoyed doing this piece. My wife and I do like wine, but we don't have quite this much on store in our basement! As always, best regards, Will
