Awesome painting! I remember in high school I painted a blue rose on my 2 pocket folder and received so many comments - most saying I had done a good job but that they had never seen a blue rose. Back then, abstract expressionism had not been "termed" yet. Times have sure changed! Now we're free and even encouraged to paint what we want the way we want (thank goodness!).
