(In English: "New Swanstone Castle). A 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged of the village Hohenschwangau near Füssen in south-west Bavaria (Germany). The castle was commissioned by Ludwig II as a retr eat and as homage to Richard Wagner. More than 1.3 million people visit the castle annually.
